Common Danfoss Controller Display Alarms
1. “CON” Alarm:
This is a condenser alarm.
This will be displayed when the condenser is not getting enough airflow over it.
Possible reasons as to what the cause for this is:
Condenser is blocked.
Condenser fan motor is not working or is stuck.
High ambient temperatures of +45°C.
There is an obstruction in front of the grill of the cabinet.
2. “ULO” Alarm:
This is a low voltage alarm.
This will be displayed when the incoming voltage to the cabinet is lower than 195V.
The cabinet will cut to the voltage protection, to help protect the cabinet from any damages.
Possible reasons as to what the cause for this is:
Cabinet is plugged into a multiplug or via an extension cable.
Cabinets is being powered by a generator.
Eskom are working on the power in the area.
3. “DOR” Alarm:
This is a door alarm.
This will be displayed when the cabinets door has been left open for more than one minute.
Possible reasons as to what the cause for this is:
Cabinet door is not closing fully.
The door sensor is faulty or not making the necessary contact.
The door sensor has been damaged or is faulty.
4. “E01/02/03” Alarm:
This is a sensor alarm.
This will be displayed when the controller cannot make contact with one of the probes.
The controller will display either “E01”, “E02” or “E03”.
Possible reasons as to what the cause for this is:
The probe has disconnected from the controller.
The probe is faulty, been cut or damaged.
